With over 30 years of experience in the dental world so far, Dr. Chung certainly understands what makes a smile shine. Ever since he can remember, Dr. Chung has had a passion for healthcare. While he was growing up, his childhood dentist got him interested in the oral healthcare field specifically. He would even visit during time off from school to watch him work and help out as an assistant during the holidays! Today, it’s difficult for him to imagine having any other profession. He loves helping his patients overcome painful symptoms while earning their trust in the process. Welcoming them in when they’re scared and saying goodbye when they’re thrilled with the results is always a rewarding experience.
Dr. Chung’s college career started at John Carroll University in Cleveland. After the completion of his undergraduate degree, he pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. He underwent a General Practice Residency as well to further expand his clinical skill set. Today, he is a proud member of the New York State Dental Association.
Dr. Chung currently lives with just his wife, as their grown children have finished college and are now off living their own lives in various locations. When he has free time away from the dental office, he enjoys playing golf, practicing photography, traveling, and just plain relaxing!
